   The Buffalo Soldiers come to Gold Rush Days!

   12:00 PM - 03:00 PM To celebrate Black History Month, the Museum will be hosting historical interpreters from the 9th Memorial U.S. Cavalry – the Buffalo Soldiers, during Wickenburg's Gold Rush Days celebration. Stop by the Museum from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday February 18 to visit with Regimental Sergeant Major Bill Curtis, some of the soldiers, and one of the officer’s wives, all in period costume.

   Self-drive or carpool, lunch on your own at Circle Bar Steakhouse in Bagdad, $35 members/$50 non-members. The mine tour is free; proceeds help underwrite the Museum's education programs.

    Big Science from Little Stars: Pathways to Discovering and Understanding Earth-like Planets

    07:00 PM - 09:00 PM Join Dr. Kevin Covey from Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff to learn about the challenges astronomers face in discovering Earth-like planets, and how he and his colleagues are producing big results with the littlest starts. After the talk joing Dr. Covey and others for telescope viewing. Event takes place in the Cultural Crossroads Learning Center at the Museum. FREE to the public.
